Welcome to A Windance Cottage We know you will feel the same as we do as you drive down the driveway. You have just found a little piece of paradise. This property has been described by our guests as "the most beautiful spot on the island." Located on the sunny west side of San Juan Island, this charming guest cottage is nestled on a five acre estate. The grounds feature a pond, private cove, tennis court equipped with two basketball hoops, fruit trees, and rolling lawns. Our beautiful cottage was custom built with much attention to detail, including French doors, vaulted ceilings, wood floors, a fireplace and a country kitchen. Magnificent views of the Olympic Mountains, spectacular sunsets over the Strait of Juan De Fuca and premier whale watching await you right on the front lawn. The south facing exposure provides plenty of sunshine all day long. There's plenty to do on the property. Relax underneath the deck umbrella while bird watching. Play a game of tennis, basketball or lawn croquet. Go down to the cove to explore the tidal pools, have a picnic or launch your kayak. When you're ready to venture out, Deadman's Bay Beach is a short walk or bike ride away. Lime Kiln State Park is also within walking distance and features hiking trails, prime whale watching and a view of the lighthouse. The cottage is ideally suited for a couple or a family of four.
